This labeler does it all….Tapered Bottles, Square Bottles, Oval Bottles, Round Bottles, Front and Back Labels; just about everything. And the best part, it is easy to setup and use.
Description:
- Easy to use and quick to set-up.
- Works with Lip Balm Tubes with the purchase of Lip Balm Attachment (see below).
- This handy label applicator will do Tapered Bottles, Square Bottles, Oval Bottles and Round Bottles. Send us your container if in doubt.
- Works perfectly with labels printed by our Primera Label Printer.
- The HANDcraft™ Universal Labeler can apply pressure sensitive labels to any container, as small as a 1/2″ to as large as 8″ (13mm to 200mm) in diameter.
- The HANDcraft™ Universal Labeler has a small foot print, only 12″ (30cm) wide x 24″ (61cm) long, but it is certainly “BIG” on what it can accomplish.
- Applies pressure sensitive labels, made of plastic, paper, Mylar, etc.
- Will handle label rolls up to 6 1/2″ (165mm) in width and 12″ (300mm) in diameter.
- Uses standard, 3″ (76mm) core label rolls, which can be Die Cut or Butt Cut.
- Capable of applying single labels or front and back labels.
- Label Applicator speeds for single labels, 15 to 20 per minute, for front and back labels, 6 to 8 per minute.

Specifications:
- Label dimensions, can range from, 3/4″ to 6 1/2″ (19mm to 165mm) in width.
- The maximum roll width, with backing, is 6 1/2″ (165mm). This is called, “Web Width” and is also the approximate label height, as it goes onto the container.
- The Roll Core Size is, 3″ (76mm) in diameter. This is the inside diameter of the paper core that the labels are wound onto.
- The maximum overall, Label Roll Diameter is, 12″ (300mm).
- The industry standard of, 1/8” to 3/16” (3mm to 5mm) between labels works best.
- Construction ¼ “ milled Alcoa® aluminum on the main frame. Other materials include poly-propylene, acrylic, phenolic, brass, stainless steel and anodized aluminum.
Please Note:
- If you are in doubt about a container or label it is best to send a sample to us, to verify.
- Paper backing is best but the HANDcraft™ Universal Labeler will work with any backing.
Label Instructions for your Printer (Label Supplier):
- For square and oval bottles, using the “Tamp Set Up” as shown in the top picture, ask your Printer for Label Position #1.
- Labels unwind from the bottom….Under – Over.
- Label direction….Your printer will understand the standard label direction numbers below. You only need to tell them which number you prefer and that the labeler unwinds from the bottom.
- #4: is best direction for a right handed person and a label running parallel to bottle. Bottom of bottle to left, neck to right. Left edge of label leading.
- #3: is best direction for a left handed person and a label running parallel to bottle. Bottom of bottle to right, neck to left, Right edge of label leading.
- #2: is best direction for a right handed person and a label running right angles to container as in a lip balm tube, Bottom of tube to left, top to right. Top edge of label leading.
- #1: is best direction for a left handed person and a label running right angles to container as in a lip balm tube, Bottom of tube to right, top to left. Bottom edge of label leading.
